Applicability
This permit applies to all proposals to operate or transport oversize and overweight vehicles and loads over State highways.
Permit Requirements
Applications must be submitted on forms furnished by the Highways Division. The applicant must provide all information required on the form, including sketches showing the plan and elevation of wheel arrangements, dimensions, and distribution of load.

- A certificate of insurance must be on file
Review Procedure
Review time varies. Excessive loads (in size and/or weight) may require further departmental review, which may take a minimum of three (3) weeks.
