FMCSA Removes 10 ELDs From Its Registered Devices List
FMCSA revoked 10 electronic logging devices on July 9, 2026 for failing to meet federal requirements — carriers running them have 60 days to switch before drivers risk an out-of-service order.
On July 9, 2026, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration revoked 10 electronic logging devices from its list of registered ELDs, moving them to FMCSA's Revoked Devices list. According to FMCSA, each of the 10 failed to meet the minimum technical requirements set out in Title 49 CFR Appendix A to Subpart B of Part 395.
The devices removed were: Ontime Logs iosix, Last Minute ELD, Porter ELD, Zee HOS Compliance, EV ELD IOSIX (formerly EVO ELD IOSIX), Light and Travel ELD, PremierRide Logs, 2Bro ELD, 305 ELD, and TT ELD 40.
Motor carriers currently running any of these devices have up to 60 days from the revocation date to replace them with a compliant ELD. FMCSA has told roadside safety officials that a driver found using one of these revoked devices on or after September 8, 2026 should be cited under 395.8(a)(1) and placed out of service, consistent with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance's Out-of-Service Criteria.
